What a fresh and creative twist on a classic alternative song! It's one of my favorites from a band I love, and you both took it and truly made it your own. Great job! - Eric...

Cool story!! Love the music. In fact, I added it to my playlist!!
Oh man this is a fine song and just a perfect down home production. 1943 Flathead V8 Ford Convertible indeed! Yup this moves!
In 1947, Dad at 14 years old, had bought his first car, a 1943 Flathead V8 Ford convertible. Among his first outings was driving his Dad down to Daytona from upstate SC, to visit family on the Fourth of July weekend. Somewhere in the night on US-1, dad hit a bump in the road, which made Grand Dad bump his head on the roof brace, making him decide to order Billy Mack (Dad) to pull over and let him out. Dad continued on alone and about sunrise, so the story goes, he came upon a straight stretch of road along side a freight train , so Dad decided to race the train. The engineers got tickled watching the young boy standing up on the throttle and bending the steering wheel, trying to keep up with the train, which finally disappeared into the distance...something over 100mph. So David and I have attempted to recreate the moment in a song, as we imagine it. See Dad in photo with his brand new 54 Strat.
